Warehouse management: trace lots, operations and client collaboration
FLUMEN WMS connects warehouse locations, appointments, lot expiry, picking and stock counts with client OMS access and PDA operations.
Who it is for
Third-party warehouses and operators serving multiple inventory owners. Warehouse staff manage execution while clients access their own business records.
From appointments to stock
Record quantities and actual production and expiry dates by received lot. Leave unknown dates empty. Receipt, putaway and corrections retain source information to support traceability.
From picking to verification
FEFO prioritizes earlier expiry and excludes expired stock from picking. Picking verification retains lot sources; shipped-quantity corrections preserve the original operational facts. PDA supports scanning during receipt, putaway and picking.
What to validate
Use two fictional lots of one product to check expiry order, partial receipt, client visibility and correction consistency. Analytics depend on actual records and sufficient snapshot coverage.
Questions and answers
Is FEFO the same as FIFO?
No. FEFO prioritizes expiry dates; FIFO prioritizes receipt order. Establish reliable lot data and operating rules before relying on automated selection.
Can several clients view their own stock?
Yes. Client accounts and permission scopes are supported. Validate warehouse, client and staff access during onboarding.
